7 Bridges Walk 2023

We're back! Save the date: Sunday 22 October 2023.

Cancer Council are thrilled to be bringing back 7 Bridges Walk on Saturday 22 October 2023! This year marks our 18th birthday and we can't wait to celebrate with you. 7 Bridges Walk is an annual fundraiser where the community unites to walk 28km while raising funds to support people impacted by cancer.

It's a great day for the whole family or friends to step out and enjoy the harbourside and bushland surrounding Sydney Harbour.

Over 128,112 walkers have taken part in the 7 Bridges Walk over the past 17 years, raising more than $10.5 million for Cancer Council NSW. The event is a great way to see Sydney, benefit your health, join in a great community activity, and raise money for Cancer Council.

COURSE

The course is a 28km closed loop circuit that travels clockwise around Sydney Harbour, highlighting many magnificent views and harbourside localities.

The course and facilities will be open from 7.30am - 4.30pm on event day.

If you are attempting to complete the entire course, we strongly recommend that you start prior to 11am in order to finish before the 4.30pm course and Village closures.

You can register to start at any Village. This is where you will pick up your Event Guide, which includes a passport and a course map.

Fundraising is what makes the real difference. You are encouraged to fundraise and donate online or on event day at any of the six Villages, to support the work of Cancer Council.

Around the course you will use existing public pathways, therefore you will need to abide by normal road rules. No special event clearways or road closures will be in place. The walk is in a clockwise direction only, so as to ease congestion and make the walk safer for all.
